The guest service parking booth attendant is responsible for carrying out daily operations in the BC parking garages.  Provide exceptional guest service for the resort that includes greeting our guests and educating our guests about the resort.  Monitor and control the traffic in and out of the parking garages while complying with company cash handling policies.  Collect payment and process all cash or credit card payments from the parking charges.  Reconcile balances and perform opening / closing duties.  Must have the ability to handle all customer complaints at a higher level.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

•Provide exceptional guest service while conducting daily operations in the BC parking garages.
•Handle higher level guest complaints and issues.
•Monitor and control both entrances and exits to the parking garages.
•Multi-task to keep all traffic flowing both in and out of the parking garages.
•Process all cash or credit card payments for parking charges that include collecting payments for parking, reconciling the balances and performing

opening / closing duties.  Maintain all SOX compliance.
•Assist with all company policies within the department and the company.
•Serve as a resource to colleagues with less experience.

 

Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent
•1 year cash handling experience
•2 years or more guest service experience
•Basic knowledge of computers
•Ability to work with composure in an often fast paced environment
•Excellent guest service skills
•Strong communication skills
•Knowledge of Beaver Creek and surrounding area
•Fluent in English
•Ability to sit in a confined space
•Ability to problem solve efficiently
•Flexible schedule
•End of season commitment ( April 2018 )
