Support Staff - Children's Ski School - Beaver Creek Resort - FT & PT - Winter Seasonal (DH)

The Children's Center Support Staff will assist instructors and supervisors with the inside/outside daily operations of the Beaver Creek Children's Ski and Snowboard School including but not limited to:

• Check in/out
• Ski valet
• Ski yard set up
• Magic carpet assistance
• Lunch routines
• Assisting with children's bathroom breaks
• Guest services
• Supervision of children
• Other duties as assigned

A large portion of the Support Staff day well be spent working outside in the elements.  A high level of guest service is needed for this position as well as previous experience working with children.  Responsibilities vary daily according to assignments.

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Resume
• Must be 16 years of age or older - required
• Ability to work weekends and holidays - required
• Ability to work directly with young children and a minimum of 2 years previous experience with children - highly preferred
• Ability to commit to working through to the end of the winter season (April 8, 2018) - preferred
• Previous guest service experience - preferred
• Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions - required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time - required
• Ability to lift, bend and carry items with a combined weight of 30lbs (such as ski racks, ski and snowboard equipment, etc.) - required
• Successful completion of the Background check - required
• Ability to communicate in Spanish - preferred
• Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding equipment - preferred
