SUMMARY of the position:
Supports store leaders by providing primary Overnight coverage and monitors Partners, Departments and total store safety
RESPONSIBILITIES of the position:
* Maintains store conditions
* Handles customer complaints, working with department managers as appropriate
* Handles customer and partner accidents
* Trouble shoots facility and equipment issues.
* Monitors the closing department Partners be reviewing closing checklists
* Ensures that all Federal, State, and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met.
* Identifies shrink opportunities.
* Ensures facility and equipment are properly maintained and in good repair to ensure product integrity and Partner safety.
* Utilizes best practices and HEB SOP's to achieve total store productivity
* Communicates new initiatives
* Overnight Duties
* Monitor overnight Partners
* Follow wareroom and receiving SOP-s
* Monitor refrigeration conditions
* Ensure sanitation guidelines are followed
* Monitors Phoenix reports
* Follow-through on security, receiving and safety SOP-s
EDUCATION and experience preferred:
* Must be 18 yrs of age or older
* 1-2 yrs retail experience
* Ability to work well with others
* Ability to handle stressful situations
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple task
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Value diversity
* Organization and planning skills
* Understanding of product integrity
* Forklift/Powerjack Training
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
PHYSICAL and other requirements:
* Physical requirements: Lift light loads, Bend, Reach, Kneeling, Squatting, Vision for attention to detail
* This work environment is one in which is fast paced and requires detailed work and precision
* The partner should be able to handle customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner
