Quality Inspector 7247392 - Full-time

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a contract opportunity in Halethrope, MD with our partner, an energy industry leader committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions that move the world forward.

Job Description

• Inspects aluminum extrusions to ensure that they meet customer specifications.
• These inspections include dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, protractor, taper gauges, contour gauges, tape measures, and other various measuring devices, including conductivity meters.
• Inspect aluminum extrusions using a conductivity meter.
• Ensure that all paperwork is complete, legible and verify that all other processes are completed and signed of by the appropriate operator.
• Prepares and packages aluminum extrusions, transfers locates and positions material using various means and equipment such as fork trucks and cranes 

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate ability to interpret blueprints and to master the use of measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, bow/twist gauges, etc.
• Able to understand and follow procedures outlined in the Inspection Operations Manual and seamlessly adapt to procedure revisions whenever necessary.
• Able to successfully complete training course provided by the company.
• Course will cover necessary mathematical skills, tools, and applications.
• Must have the ability and willingness to train others.

Pay Rate: $14.00 Per Hour
