MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of secretarial or clerical work experience.

College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience.

Vocational/technical training in the area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience.

JOB DUTIES:

Complies with all applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Reviews and scans documents into division's databases.

Verifies documents to ensure correct placement, legibility and completeness of information scanned.

Analyzes documents to facilitate distribution of work to appropriate personnel.

Communicates in writing and by phone with co-workers, businesses, consumers and other agencies.

Documents all communication and follow up activities in division's databases.

Operates computers and general office equipment.

Makes photo-static copies, sends faxes and assists in preparing and processing regular and certified mail.

Assists in the archiving of division records and processing public records requests.

Assists other bureaus within the division performing related work and other clerical duties as required by management.
