About this job
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with integrity to join the Covington team in our aircraft engine disassembly department. We will train you in the tear down, cleaning, and inspection a turbine and / or radial aircraft engine. This position is labor intensive and requires being on your feet most of the day, able to lift 80 lbs., able to lift 50 lbs. 5 ft. high, upper body movement, bending, stooping, and twisting. We do not require A&P licenses or prior experience on aircraft engines but prefer proven mechanical abilities.
Duties:
Job duties are assigned by the area Supervisor which may include tasks, but not limited to:
• Engine disassembly
• Engine cleaning
• Engine inspection
• Non-Destructive Testing
• Tracking inventory
• Shipping / Receiving
• Other duties as assigned
