LaPetite Academy Is Hiring an Electives Area Teacher the Knoxville Area!
Our Electives Area Teachersare assigned to a specific geographic area serving multipleschools. They are responsible for management and facilitation of electiveprograms designed to complement the schools’ core curriculum.
These programs include Spanish,Yoga, and Chess. All training to teach the programs are provided by thecompany.
Our Electives Area Teachers:
- Are friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with customers, co-workers, managers, and visitors.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the families and children we serve.
- Organize weekly class schedules; manage class curriculum.
- Sell and increase utilization of the programs.
- Manage marketing and promotions of elective programs.
- Manage and Facilitate Elective classes at assigned school.
- Maintain and grow enrollment of the elective programs.
- Travel daily between assigned schools
We are most interested intalking to applicants that have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Course work OR degree in Early Childhood Education OR CDA (preferred)
- 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- Ability to learn/ train through WebEx and/or E-Learning
- Must be willing/ able to travel to multiple locations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
