Parking Lot Attendant - PT - Winter Seasonal - Vail Mountain

The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for managing parking operations on weekends, and for special ski and snowboard school programs (DEVO).  They must provide exceptional guest service that includes greeting our guests, educating our guests about the resort while directing them to the appropriate parking place, and ensure our guests safety.  Their main job is to monitor and control the parking lots while keeping traffic flowing. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Directing vehicles to park in parking lots, and maximizing available space.
• Greeting guests while assisting them in a variety of capacities, including giving general directions and resort information.
• Assisting with carrying guest’s equipment as needed.
• Having strong communication skills, and the ability to approach guests in an enthusiastic, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be age 16 and over. 
• Fluent English
• Able to lift 50 lbs. ( ski equipment, signs, traffic cones )
• Able to use arms in fast motion to direct cars
• Able to stand outside for long periods of time in extreme mountain conditions
• Able to walk on icy and snow covered parking lots
• Be safety aware and minded
• Take pride in being guest service oriented
• Team player
