The Product Sales Assistant Manager will manage daily operations of offices in each base area and maintain a strong cohesive team to ensure an experience of a lifetime for all guests. The winter seasonal assistant manager will work closely with the Senior Manager and the year-round assistant manager on long-term planning of Product Sales at Keystone Resort. This is achieved through focus on quality control, training and staff performance development, teamwork, communication, guest relations, administrative duties and self-development. Hiring of staff from Agents to Supervisors. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor overall quality of offices in both base areas to ensure experience of a lifetime for all guests and employee satisfaction. Create a fun, positive and supportive work environment.
  • Drive team to achieve GX Survey, Line Wait, and Data Capture scores for the season.
  • Scheduling of staff in all locations to ensure all shifts are filled and the department does not incur excessive labor. Also, recruit staff to pick up extra shifts during busy periods to fill vacant shifts. Monitor all Time & Labor.
  • Work with Recreation Audit and PSS Staff to reconcile transaction errors and train staff to prevent recurring errors.
  • Review group lift ticket orders from conference services and group sales to ensure proper quantities, pricing, and exceptions are in accordance with standards. Forward orders to group lift ticket office for fulfillment and delivery.
  • Work with Senior Manager and the Lifetime Pass office to ensure all policies, procedures, and fulfillment are audited regularly.
  • Training and development of PSS Supervisors so that they can independently run offices and perform daily operations.
  • Hiring of all PSS staff through collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HR to create strategic hiring plan.
  • Develop staff training programs with assistance of PSS Senior Manager.
  • Complete mid-season and end-of-season performance appraisals for direct reports.
  • Develop working relationship with Scanning to streamline the handling and correction of lift ticket and season pass issues that are encountered at the lifts.
  • Develop partnership with Ski & Ride School Product Sales to develop opportunities for cross-selling and cross-training for each type of lift product.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education or equivalent - required
  • Minimum of 5 years guest relations experience - required
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience - required
  • Must be computer literate – MS Word, Excel, PeopleSoft, email, etc.
