FOH Bar Manager – Bull City Hospitality at The Bullpen

We are partnered with Heavenly Buffaloes for the best wings in Durham, Music Maker Relief Foundation for amazing live blues/gospel/jazz music weekly. We aim to be your new favorite local spot!

We are seeking an experienced Front of the House Bar Manager to work at The Bullpen. This position is full time, and on average 32+ hours per week. As a Front of the House Bar Manager, you will relieve the General Manager during normal business hours and direct the activities of the front of the house staff. The pay rate is $15 per hour with experience.

As a FOH Bar Manager, you will…

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and management of the restaurant
  • Supervise front of house staff
  • Provide excellent customer services to guests
  • Handle guest complaints
  • Inventory and maintain front of house items
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Handle daily deposits and operation of the POS systems

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, bar, and front of the house management experience
  • Beverage operation experience, including keg dispensing, tap maintenance, etc.
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
