Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking reliable and motivated bilingual individuals for Assembly Line Lead positions for the assembly of holiday gifts.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to this:

  • Total Accountability for Assembly rules and guidelines on assigned lines
  • Assures all assigned gift assembly lines are operating efficiently while attaining product goals, safety and housekeeping standards
  • Responsible for assuring quality standards are met  for all gifts produced on his/her assigned assembly lines
  • Identifies and implements value-added improvements to the assigned assembly line operations
  • Works with Assembly Manager to establish work schedules for assigned shift/lines
  • Enforces compliance of company safety and standard operating policies and procedures
  • Ensures OSHA standards are followed, all federal and state regulations are met and housekeeping procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Ensures direct reports have sufficient, safe, and working equipment to perform assembly functions
  • Assures seasonal associates are informed of and adhere to the Company’s safety programs and immediately informs Assembly Manger of any corrective action related to associates engaging in unsafe work practices
  • Responsible for the accuracy of shortage/scrap requests and work with the Assembly Manager and the Communications and Material Control (CAMP) department to resolve any issues
  • Assures that the duties, responsibilities and authority of each associate are clearly defined, and communicated to associates
  • Works closely with Assembly Manager to ensure any associate discrepancies involving hours worked or pay are promptly researched and resolved
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Seasonal position starting in July ending in December.

Qualifications

  • Must pass the pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Tests
  • Must pass the pre-employment tests

Required Skills:

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 75 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
  • Regularly required to climb, stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to stand up to a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Able to work with product moving conveyors
