Ultrasonic Inspector (6990661) - Full-time

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an UItrasonic Inspector for a contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD with our partner, an energy industry leader committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions that move the world forward. We are looking for full time Ultrasonic Testers for our Halethorpe Extrusions Inc. group in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ultrasonic Tester is responsible for checking the quality of materials with ultrasonic equipment.

Ultrasonic Tester responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working from section drawings and specifications to check material
• Setting up and calibrating ultrasonic equipment
• Checking product quality ultrasonically
• Loading and unloading immersion tank
• Operating pendant controlled hoist
• Operating radio controlled crane to move material to work station
• Using SPC methods for collecting date
• Using VDT for entering information
• Performing minor maintenance tasks
• Keeping records and reporting production data

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Environmental, health, and safety focus/orientation
• Ability to establish sound priorities and objectives and be able to function in a high pressure work environment
• Must be self motivated, able to motivate others, able to set direction and expectations and follow-up to ensure success
