Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Blow Mold Technician responsible for supervision of Blowmolding operators. Ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing processes through the process. Must make and adhere to both process and employee schedules and ensure that quality standards are met.
Duties and responsibilities
The Blowmolding Supervisor performs any and all duties necessary while achieving and sustaining the safety, performance and quality expectations of the manufacturing task.
Coordinate the daily operations of and manage employee movements
Oversee production of plastic blowmolding product in the most efficient manner per specifications while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure equipment in area of assignment is in safe working order
Use mechanical knowledge/ability to remediate mechanical failures.
Make periodic checks of production process
Make real time adjustments
Perform data collection and reporting
Verify the readiness of the production line at start up
Qualifications
High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent required; Bachelor s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years production/manufacturing experience
2+ years supervising production staff preferred
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
Good computer skills
Good recordkeeping skills
Excellent mechanical ability
Good working knowledge of Blowmolding equipment
Must have experience in PLC programming
Working conditions
Typically in a comfortable environment but with moving machinery, and loud noises which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. Hearing protection, eye protection, slip resistant shoes are required at all times in this department. This position requires the ability to be fair, but capable of reprimanding and handling other employment issues that may arise among team members.
Physical requirements
This position requires the movement of boxes of product. Employee be able to lift 25 pounds.
Drug & Background screening required.
Various shifts available.
