This position provides assistance to the OMC Manager, Deputy Directors/Chief and other support staff with general administrative support functions required for daily operation of the Director's Office. Works independently to assist staff with a variety of administrative tasks/functions which are often complex in nature.

Responsible for assigning and monitoring division trackers and public record requests, ensuring they are handled appropriately and in a timely manner by staff. Assists DLE WebQA coordinators by offering guidance and assistance with redaction of public record responses, as needed. Serves as the record keeper of the division files for volunteers and interns who work for the division. Collects, formats and submits the Division of Law Enforcement Weekly Report that recaps each week's enforcement activities throughout the state.

Prepares requisitions and purchase orders for memberships, registrations, trainings, conferences, and other items as needed in accordance with agency guidelines. Submits travel receipts and commodity items paid by p-card, ensures correct budget coding, receives supervisor approval and processes according to agency guidelines. Tracks yearly meetings command staff are required to attend. Monitors first aid kit and ensures it is properly maintained. Updates annual out-of-state travel memo for the division. Oversees the process to ensure the division's main phone line is answered and calls are directed appropriately during business hours. Orders office supplies as needed.

Makes airline, hotel and rental car reservations, obtains registration fees, and prepares travel authorizations for agency approval. Processes travel reimbursements and p-card receipts following agency guidelines for office staff. Prepares travel and meeting documents to include agendas, reservation information, etc. for traveler. Assists in scheduling meetings and keeping calendars for office personnel. Prepares meeting information for office staff. Provides assistance to field personnel as needed on various assignments. Distributes mail to appropriate personnel. Receives telephone calls for the office and routes as appropriate. Creates congratulatory, sympathy, get well, or other occasion cards as needed from the division.

Assists with the day-to-day operations of the office. Answers questions from the public related to general fishing and boating laws. This includes providing information by way of telephone and mailing brochures and correspondence. Obtains needed specialty items, beyond standard office supplies, for this section through the proper purchasing channels.

Performs other duties as required.
