The District Inventory & Asset Lead is responsible for the overall tracking of all unit inventory, as well as the general control of all company assets relative to the In Home service operation. This person will lead the district support office in executing business requirements, ensure consistent operational execution of business processes and priorities, communicate expectations, and distribute work load as directed by the District Service General Manager or the Operations Manager. This person serves as a management team member facilitating the needs of the field to the National Operations Teams for Assets & Programs, the National Parts Team, Parts Distribution Centers, Region Truck Assorting Office, and logistical service providers.

Job Duties:
* Serves as the business unit's lead point of contact for the utilization of advanced inventory management systems
* Supervises and directs the transportation of unit inventory between service units and technicians, including directing associates to drive or driving to recover inventory as needed
* Leads in the conduct of the District Monthly Inventory Review, determines the business's needs, and coordinates the adjustments to the book value of inventory due to damage, loss, selling value corrections, etc.
* Coordinates and directs the staging and recovery of surplus inventory, including working with both internal and external property managers to ensure the protection and control thereof
* Communicates with field management team on matters of inventory control discipline and process compliance
* Enforces company standards of inventory control, drives process improvements and assists technicians in recovering surplus inventory, maintaining proper truck stock levels, effective truck organization, and bin locations
* Reconciles listings of truck stock inventory with physical inventory on hand and makes systemic changes as needed
* Supports the installation, maintenance, transfer and tracking of mobile computing equipment such as: laptops, transmitters, receivers, printers, cradles, and pedestals; maintains any associated lists or databases; facilitates upgrades in hardware and software
* Coordinates fleet assignments on behalf of the service unit, facilitates vehicle changes, monitors disposition of spare vehicles, and maintains master list or database of vehicles assigned to the business unit
* Monitors and ensures title, licensing, branding, maintenance and repair of all vehicles is completed according to regulation, specifications or company standards
* Orders, receives, distributes and controls company cell phones for service technicians; maintains associated master cell phone list for the service unit
* Coordinates the ordering and distribution of fuel service cards, insurance cards, fleet service cards, tolling transponders etc., and monitors usage and compliance, and maintains associates lists or databases
* Serves as single point of contact for national program managers and responds to any other inquiries and directives
* Controls and safeguards all master and duplicate keys for service vans
* Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
* Ability to use common computer applications, web based systems and Microsoft Office products
* Ability to drive legally, responsibly and safely.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, solve problems and follow directions.
* Ability to apply appropriate use of personal protective equipment (i.e. back belt, safety glasses)
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to work in non-air conditioned environment, where applicable
* Ability to speak, read and write English
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
