Experienced Snowmaking / Snowmaker - Winter Seasonal - Breckenridge Ski Resort - Full-time / Part-time

Breckenridge is seeking experienced snowmakers to join our hard working, safety conscious, and team oriented snowmaking team. The Experienced Snowmaker is responsible for transport, set up, and safe, efficient operation of snowmaking equipment in multiple locations to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

Essential job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Lead and train entry and intermediate snowmakers to utilize proper snowmaking logistics
• Lead and train staff on snowmobile/ UTV operations
• Lead and train staff how to set up / tear down, transport and operate all types of snow guns
• Lead and train staff on proper snow quality checks
• Continue to develop and foster a teamwork approach
• Have a more in depth understanding of all 3 pump stations and monitoring of the control system
• Have a full understanding of mountain layout and travel routes

 Additional Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 2 seasons experience of snowmaking
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work with various hand and power tools
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment
• Ability to work outside in adverse conditions
• Adhere to Departmental and Vail Resorts safety standards

Preferred Skills:

• Strong skiing ability for day time snowmaking
• Snowmobile and/or UTV experience
• Basic First Aid/CPR, WFR, EMT
• Breckenridge Mountain Experience
