Job Description:

 

The ticket scanning supervisor is responsible for all daily operations of the Ticket Scanning department.  The qualified candidate should embody professional conduct and demonstrate a high level of guest service to both internal and external guests.  The ticket scanning supervisor should be friendly, make it easy, and pay attention to detail at all times.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist in hiring scanning team.
  • Scheduling of staff.
  • Development of staff through training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Monitoring time and labor in order to align staffing levels to budget and business volumes.
  • Resolve ticket and season pass problems with the help of the ticket office.
  • Professional and effective communication with guests and internal departments.  Frequent contacts include Ticket Sales, Lift Operations, Keystone Security, Mountain Safety, and Ski Patrol.
  • Investigation of fraudulent season pass and lift ticket usage.
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times in stressful situations.
  • Problem solving guest and staff issues to a positive outcome.
  • Maintaining safe areas of operation.
  • Follow instructions given by manager.
  • Work on a team environment.
  • Presenting yourself in a professional manner by adhering to company guidelines on grooming and attire.

Qualifications:

 

  • Fluent in all aspects of English – required
  • Three (3) years guest service experience – required
  • Two (2) years of previous supervisory experience– required
  • Prior ticket scanning experience – preferred
  • Willing to work outdoors in all alpine winter weather conditions – required
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand for the entire work shift.
  • Able to commit to entire season – required.
