Job Summary
Set-up and operate all computerized matte cutter. Frame certificates and other special projects including coordinating of color matte and frame.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Design and produce special wooden plaques and attach brass plates or medallions.
+ Make-up signs for special functions.
+ Operate small power tools and machinery as required.
+ Read prints or sketches and perform material take-off.
+ Have knowledge of computers used in trade.
Minimum Requirements
+ Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
+ Ability to write correspondence.
+ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
+ A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings and nights, as well as, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Four years experience picture framing or completion of a recognized apprenticeship. Alternatively, a vocational program and five years in carpentry trade.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen, possess and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
