About this job
A nursing technician on the 3D med/surg unit acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
Medical/Surgical (3D - Blodgett)
* 22 Beds
* Population: Medical/Surgical. Medical -- GI bleed, pneumonia, kidney disease, etc.
* Why 3D: 3D is in the growth phase of becoming a fully functioning Medical Surgical unit. This creates the unique opportunity to develop, grow and create a space dedicated to caring for patients with a variety of medical diagnoses.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - 1 year college education including clinical experience
Experience - 6 months of recent, relevant patient care experience
Licenses - Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
