RESTAURANT MANAGER - Full-time

Red Door Woodfired Grill is a locally-owned  restaurant group with an entrepreneurial spirit, and we're currently expanding our high-end casual concept to multiple locations in the Kansas City area. Our newest location in Overland Park will be opening soon! We're looking for rising stars who want to grow with us. Must have a passion for food and the ability to provide an over-the-top guest experience.

Summary of Position:
Maintains our standards of quality by directing and managing staff performance in the areas of hospitality and service, guest interaction, health & safety and sanitation standards. Displays the ability to resolve guest feedback about food quality and service. Must display leadership, and a personable, positive attitude with team members and guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide fast, friendly service to guests
• Assist with managing team member performance
• Assist General Manager with recruiting, hiring and training. Provide orientation of company and department rules, policies and procedures.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Prepare all required paperwork in an organized and timely manner.
• Instruct staff on cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards and keep appropriate records.
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

 
Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a restaurant manager in a casual dining concept
• Supervisory, leadership, team development experience
• Ability to uphold standards and processes
• Possess attention to detail skills
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Unquestionable integrity
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining personnel and guests
• Must be available to work 50-55 hours per week

Physical/ Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, pull, carry, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs
