The Line Cook will be empowered to work with the Paleo Brio Healthy Kitchen team and be provided the tools to do so.
The Line Cook is a team member of the Back of House and is responsible and accountable for exceptional customer satisfaction through menu accuracy, food plating, and speed of service by ensuring that the core values and mission are delivered. The Line Cook is expected to be a role model for the culture of Paleo Brio Healthy Kitchen and always exhibit exceptional standards in guest satisfaction by delivering the best food and service in a clean and friendly environment.
The Line Cook reports directly to the assigned Shift Leader and General Manager and is accountable for executing the policies and procedures. The Line Cook is required to complete and meet the requirements of Paleo Brio Healthy Kitchen Line Cook Training Program and the Kitchen Training Program. The Line Cook must communicate, clearly, effectively and professionally with staff, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Exceptional customer service through fast, efficient, accurate, and proper food production all completed to company standards
Continuously test all food products for taste, appearance, consistency to assure that all company food standards and procedures are being followed.
Clean and maintain the kitchen on a regular basis, including proper timely maintenance on all machines and equipment
Exceptional knowledge of entire food menu, ingredients, modifications, cook times, assembly order
Proper protocol and management of ticket orders, table number groupings
Proper presentation and/or preparation of food for dine-in or to-go
Become familiar with new menu items and their preparation, cook times and assembly
Completes position Primary and Secondary Responsibilities as well as Daily Duties at a exceptional level
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set positive examples for rest of team
Assist with the par/inventory/order of food supply
Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
Maintaining accurate temperatures on all cooling equipment, maintain waste sheet, temp logs
Maintains kitchen to high standard and follows sanitation guidelines compliant with Health Department and company standards
At times, performs work of other team members as needed
Keeps company passwords clock-in id’s, and intellectual property confidential
Demonstrates a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times
Use, implementation, and adherence to all company policies, procedures, systems and processes
Regular and predictable attendance

18+ years of age
Prefer high school graduate
2 yr of food preparation and/or kitchen experience
Demonstrate cooking skills, ability to follow established protocol and recipes
Dependable, honest, trustworthy, possesses integrity
Positive attitude and great personal drive
Courteous and enthusiastic
Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced sales environment
Exceptional communication skills
Exceptional guest services skills
Basic math skills and computer skills
Prefer ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
