In this role, you would be developing tooling, component design and prototyping, executing design and process DOEs, supporting process characterization and validation activities, and transferring catheter and/or sub-assembly fabrication into manufacturing

A Day in the Life

Typical of your responsibilities in this role, you'd

* Assess device, process or material performance against established standards or specifications; supporting new test method development and executing gage R&Rs

* Train operators to new manufacturing procedures

* Procure, install and maintain equipment including executing IQ protocols/reports

* Work as part of a cross-functional team to design, develop, and manufacture catheter based delivery systems and delivery system components

* Develop tooling and assembly methods for shafts used in catheter based therapies

* Execute feasibility strategy, including prototyping and experimentation; presenting data based results and direction for further study or execution

MUST HAVES (Basic Qualifications) * High School diploma or GED/HiSET

* 5+ years of technical experience in Manufacturing or development

* proficiency with statistical software program like Minitab

* Ability to create and release documents indocumentation system such as Agile

NICE TO HAVES

* Associates Degree or Technical Degree

* Aptitude for working independently in a lab environment

* Ability to work on a cross-functional team

* Proficient with software programs like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Enthusiastic desire to learn

* Familiarity with Medtronic Quality System

* Basic knowledge of polymer processing, extrusion, braiding, and injection molding

* Basic working knowledge of catheter design and construction

* Familiarity with FDA and ISO requirements, as well as knowledge of GMPs

* Understanding of body of work associated with Process Validation

* Understanding of body of work what would typically be associated with Design Verification and Design Validation

* Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and lift loads of 50 pound.

* Must be able to stand and/or bend frequently.

* Ability to stand / walk for up to 12 hours.
