About this job
Performs set-up, testing, tuning and troubleshooting of complex RF/MW amplifiers, RF modules and frequency Up/down converters. May require use of a microscope.
Recognizes failures and set up problems and determines need for appropriate corrective action.
Operates a variety of programmable test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzer, scalar analyzer, noise phase, etc.)
Works from written and verbal instructions, block diagrams and schematics.
Records and maintains test data.
* LI-DW1
AAS degree in Electronics Technology or tech school graduate and a minimum of five (5) years related experience are required. Must have understanding of RF/MW theory/measurements. Must be able to read schematics and block diagrams and solder under a microscope.
Must possess excellent communication skills with ability to exchange information and interface effectively, clearly, and concisely and electronics circuit analysis. Must be Microsoft Office literate.
