Delivery Driver

Job Summary: Delivery Drivers' primary responsibility is to deliver sandwiches to customers in the designated delivery area. Drivers are expected to check all orders for accuracy and quality and deliver to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Drivers must also work in the shop when no deliveries are scheduled.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take phone orders and complete delivery tickets in a fast manner.
• Deliver orders to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner in established delivery areas only.
• Accept payment from customers for orders.
• Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales.
• Make fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches.
• Comply with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
• Greet customers and take orders, operate the cash register, collects payment from customer and make change.
• Greet all customers sincerely with a smile.
• Maintain professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently and clearly. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
