Responsibilities

* Check current run schedule and calculate amount of material you will need to finish current schedule. Do not over pull communicate with sew-on concerning amount of schedule remaining.

* Check schedule and create needs for current shift.

* Pull rubber depending on what styles require (white, beige, marine backing, clear coat, recoat.)

* Follow formulas for dye and accelerator additions.

* Accelerator check cups are to be done for every rubber pull.

* Record pulls on batch sheet report.

* Information recorded should be clear and neat.

* Change and clean strainers and airflow every 2 hours and record on checklist.

* Have heads primed and ready for next schedule change.

* Clean heads every 6 hours.

* Shift leader, Foam operator and Mixer operator communicate to ensure that all valves are properly opened and closed when required.

* Store any useable or unusable latex in appropriate totes and store in assigned areas.

* Notify supervisor and next associate of any quality or machine problems.

* Maintain housekeeping in area.

* Only soap and water to be pumped into pit. (Do not pump any latex into the pit.)

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

* Responsible for maintaining P.P.E. and notifying supervision when P.P.E. needs replaced.

* Must be able to operator an lift truck

* Read and Write English

* Must have mixing experience
