Position Summary: Adult counseling

Responsibilities: Provides professional counseling services to assigned patients and family members.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in social work or related field. Counselors providing adolescent services and family counselors must meet training, experience, and continuing education requirements necessary for the patient population for which services are provided. Must document two years of freedom from chemical abuse problems. Must be at least 21 years old.

License or Certification: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with current licensure with Minnesota Board of Social Work, or exempt status in accordance with Minnesota

Current CPR for Family and Friends Course or equivalent. First aid training.

Benefit Eligible: Yes

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $20.14 per hour.

Hours/Pay Period: 80

Schedule Details: Week day schedule (4 10 hour days typically from 10am - 8:30pm)
