Account Management Executive FED/VIP - Eagan, MN - 131423

Manages and coordinates account service activities as the Account Management contact for the FED/VIP national dental plan. Will also work with internal FEP sales staff within Anthem and coordinate the FED/VIP dental program with the BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) Association. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Oversees the execution of account management strategy for the FED/VIP dental product, serves as primary account relationship manager between DeCare, BCBS Association and other Blue Plans, provides support for open-season health fairs, community outreach events, and BCBS Association conferences and planning meetings. Identifies opportunities for ongoing penetration of sales.

* Pursues new growth opportunities through a team approach with field office sales staff.

* Provides support for field sales staff with presentations and open season meetings.

* Proactively develops effective business relationships with BCBS Association staff, Anthem FEP teams and BCBS plans.

* Responsible for managing the annual renewal process, including coordination with underwriting for preparation of the renewal analysis and client presentations. Participates in all implementation activities.

* Works directly with BCBS Association staff and with DeCare Operations, Customer Service and Marketing staff to assure that all aspects of account service run smoothly.

Qualifications

* Requires a BA/BS plus 5 years experience in account management or sales: or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

* Frequent travel required.

* Dental benefit experience strongly preferred.
