Responsibilities Include
- Compiles, prepares and distributes reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Composes and/or types correspondence, memoranda and other documents in a timely and accurate manner; proofs for accuracy; copies and distributes documents.
- Establishes and maintains files, logs, databases or other records in a timely and accurate manner. May process and/or track invoices for departmental expenses. Handles information of a sensitive, proprietary or confidential nature and maintains the confidentiality of same.
- Receives incoming telephone calls/emails and assists by responding to inquiries or routing the caller/email to the appropriate party. Sorts incoming mail and distributes to the appropriate individuals. Prepares outgoing and interoffice correspondence.
- Maintains adequate inventory of office supplies and orders supplies as needed. May make arrangements for office equipment service and/or repair as necessary.
- Provides backup administrative support as needed. Assists other administrative or departmental staff members as requested.
- Performs other job related duties as may be assigned or required.
Education / Experience
- Have administrative experience; demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks/projects.
- Confident interacting and communicating --think clearly, be a perceptive learner, sensing the needs of the organization, takes action with high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency/Expertise in developing executive/Board of Director level presentation materials; excellent computer skills (Excel ,Powerpoint, Word, Outlook)
- High degree of professionalism, integrity and discretion; excellent judgment and superior written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work independently without significant assistance or direction; work under pressure and time constraints and to handle changing priorities.
