FirstLight Home Care has reported record franchise growth in 2016, and FirstLight Home Care is now seeking a full-time experienced Networker. This position is responsible for developing relationships in the community with relevant referral sources with the goal of building and maintaining a consistent flow of new business through direct referrals. You will work with other members of the FirstLight management team to monitor goals as they pertain to billable hours, number of clients, and/or revenue. The ideal candidate should fully understand the level of commitment, dedication and consistency required to be successful in this industry.

We are looking for candidates with strong established relationships in the healthcare industry in our area. This is a full-time position, with salary plus incentive bonuses. Our office is based in Schaumburg, but your territory will include the greater DuPage County area.

Job Responsibilities

• Seeks out and develops relationships with various Referral Sources in DuPage County for the purpose of increasing referrals and achieving business growth goals.
• Referral Sources include, but are not limited to, hospital case managers, discharge planners, assisted living and senior living communities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, hospices, home health care agencies, physician, attorneys, churches, senior advisors, etc.
• Must be able to generate incremental business from referral sources quickly
• Conducts at least 35 visits per week – mix of medical and non-medical / new and follow up calls.
• Educates referral sources and consumers on our services.
• Establishes a Networking plan and actively uses it as a working tool, which is revisited as requested/needed.
• Pre-plan weekly sales and marketing activities
• Visits existing referral sources to maintain and grow partner relationships.
• Tracks Networking efforts and reviews them with supervisor on a weekly basis.
• Participates in Networking groups, especially as they relate to the senior population.

Basic Qualifications

* High School Diploma
* You must have two years of proven experience as a networker/sales rep in non-medical home care, home health or related field
* Strong prospecting skills; comfortable in cold calling; handles rejection well
* Must be comfortable with closing/asking for business.
* Exhibit outstanding organization skills and a service attitude towards the community
* Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a positive, professional, business image.
* Must be able to work independently.
* Must be persistent and pleasant.
* Ability to budget time and meet deadlines
* Outstanding follow up skills
* Professionally represent company at community functions and professional organizations
* Coordinate and communicate sales activity with all office staff to ensure appropriate follow-up
* Activity demonstrate the company's philosophy of customer service, individual respect, teamwork and productivity
* Valid driver's license and own transportation required, proof of auto insurance and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

College degree in Business, Marketing or Health Care a plus
