About this job
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a QC Inspector with the Principal Duties and Responsibilities of:
Performs mechanical inspection of precision machine parts using various measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and digital height gauges
Understands Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances standards
Able to locate datum on parts and correctly measure dimensional characteristics
Performs verification on First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspection to ensure product meets customer specifications
Visually inspects parts for burrs, deviations, and damage using optical instruments: toolmaker s scope, microscope, and Vision System
Assists production operators with inspection methods, measurement process, and visual acceptability
Reports problems and findings to the Quality Manager
Maintains inspection records and prepares defective product list
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic computer applications and business software
Fundamental math, geometry, and trigonometry skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Scheduling flexibility to support production demands
Minimum of one-year experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
M-F 10am to 6: 30PM
$17.00 an hour B.O.E
