Warehouse Assistant Manager/ Delivery Manager

Event Rental Company in Commerce Township seeks an Assistant Warehouse Manager/ Crew Leader to oversee warehouse operations and lead the setup and retrieval of rental equipment. Equipment includes Chiavari Chairs, Table cloths, Napkins, Tables, and other event furniture. Work days are Thursday - Monday.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from warehouse
• Chauffeur's license ( or eligible to get one )
• Clean Driving Record/ Background Check
• Able to drive company Pickup Truck with 26ft trailer
• Able to back up trailers
• Must have Cell phone
• Able to occasionally lift 50-75 lbs.
• Work Split Shifts 1-3 days a week as needed
• Experience leading crews of 3 - 10 workers

Job Duties:

• Oversee general warehouse operations -  Day-to-day tasks,  cleaning,  maintenance, and upkeep
• Maintain inventory in an organized fashion
• Preform inventory audits  
• Preparation and staging of orders
• Loading and unloading of orders
• Delivery, setup, and teardown of installations
• Manage/train crew members
• Uphold professional and safety standards of the company
• Assist manager with training and enforcing company policy
• Maintain warehouse in a clean and efficient manner
• Delegate tasks to employees, and insure completion of tasks

We pay $12-$15/hr. to start. Depending on experience, availability, dependability, work ethic, and attention to detail. This is a full time position.

Night shift (after 10pm) we pay $65 for 1st job and $50 for the 2nd. Jobs are typically 3hrs

Example:

Saturday work 9AM-3PM and do 1-night job 10pm-1am pay would be 6*$15 + $65 = $155 for the day or $17.22 per hr.
