About this job
This position requires at least 6 months of recent hospital or medical office surgery scheduling with medical terminology. Experience required for this position demonstrates the following skills and abilities: Ability to: work with various programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word. Skills: effective oral and written communication skills; organizational and data entry skills; typing speed of 40 wpm.
The incumbent provides the hospital with a means of scheduling healthcare services for the community and in a manner, which will best serve the patient and physician. The incumbent provides ease of access, coordination of scheduling and improved overall communication.
The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.
