About this job
We have a full-time opening for Machine Operators.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
Background check required.
-Perform process evaluation by completing forms prior to shift or operating machines.
-Assemble, align, and clamp work pieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal compontents .
-Load work pieces into welding machines .
-Start, monitor, and adjust robotic welding production lines.
-Turn and press knobs and buttons or enter operating instructions into computers to adjust and start welding machines.
-Install appropriate electrode size and type, tips, and welding rod or wire.
-Remove part from welding machines and place final products into containers.
-Record operational information on specified production reports.
-Test and visually inspect completed work pieces for defects or quality issues, using leak tests.
-Use hands tools such as hammers, chisels, wrenches, and wire cutters.
