Description:
Provides support for the sale and use of John Deere Agriculture Management Solutions (AMS), JD Link enabled equipment and tractor technology. Works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products to producers in their trade area.

Essential Duties:
- Monitor all assigned JD Link enabled machines.
- Customer contact for JD Link enabled machine issues and AMS issues.
- Assist in develop and delivers employee training for AMS products.
- Promote the adoption of new technology and product offerings.
- Create, modify, store and communicate customer agreements, ensuring all permissions and relationship types are approved and validated to execute the customer agreement.
- Manages customer follow-up processes, and customer satisfaction issues related to product line.
- Provides support for advanced customer training (including desktop software products) offered through John Deere.
- Identifies and leads training opportunities for customer education programs involving JD Link, AMS and host product solutions.
- Serves as the internal and external dealership technical specialist relative to the entire JD Link and AMS product line.
- Maintain base network as directed. Identifying other sales opportunities while servicing customers.
- Provides sales support during demonstrations.
- Ability to diagnosis and repair primary AMS products.
- Sell and support service agreements for JD Link and AMS products.
- Responsible to achieve job specific metrics and sales volume.
- Ability to maintain a company insurable driving record.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Associates degree or equivalent in GIS systems, Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years relevant experience in an agriculture-related role.
- 1+ year experience in GIS or JD Tractor Service or other related technical field preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical and wireless communication systems.
- Knowledge of database software and computer application systems. Ability to use company computer systems and achieve an intermediate computer functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to speak and write effectively one-on- one and within a group.
