Cargill Law is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant Supervisor to supervise and provide coaching to the Administrative Assistant staff. This person will be accountable for training and development of employees which will include conducting annual reviews and recommending salary increases. We are seeking an individual who can work independently and make decisions without complete information. A high level of professionalism is needed to interact with all levels of the organization. The person in this role must have the ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with highly confidential matters. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader, professional, self-motivated, capable of managing a diverse workload and able to work through conflicting priorities in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

50% Supervisor Accountabilities:

* Supervise and coach Administrative Assistant team including, hiring, retention, engagement and coaching on Cargill's core values.

* Provides input in planning for future workforce needs and participates in selection of employees.

* Accountable for training and development of employees.

* Ensure team goals are written, communicated and in alignment with Cargill's strategies.

* Conducts performance management quarterly meetings and annual reviews.

* Provides recommendations for salary increases.

* Responsible for recognition and constructive feedback to employees in a timely manner.

* Coordinate activities to ensure administrative support is seamless and consistent across/

* Coordinate and back up other department administrative assistants (vacation coverage, out of office, help needed for project or time sensitive requests).

* Submit time reports in a timely manner.

50% Administrative Accountabilities:

* Review, prioritize and determine actions for incoming communications.

* Independently research and assist in resolving confidential requests and time sensitive matters.

* Prepare first drafts of letters, agreements, emails and other communications with minimal supervision including editing complex legal documents

* Coordinate conference calls and meetings and interface directly with employees at all levels of the organization.

* Participate in various Law Team initiatives and ad hoc projects.

* Coordinate, troubleshoot and help train others to run webinars, audio and video conferencing technology while maximizing technology capabilities.

* Keep and manage calendars of multiple assignments.

* Maintain and update requested SharePoint sites.

* Organize and expedite flow of work and initiate follow-up action to ensure deadlines are met.

* Assist with Document/Records Management - Maintain and coordinate shared files.

* Attend to lawyer registrations and memberships.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

* Two-year degree or equivalent work experience.

* Minimum 5 years of administrative experience.

* Demonstrated ability to lead people and deliver team results.

* Ability to promote and work within an inclusive environment.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Ability to set and meet deadlines and act independently to improve processes and procedures.

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people; highly collaborative.

* Strong multi-tasking skills, flexibility and attention to detail.

* Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.

* Willingness to take on and complete independent projects with minimal supervision.

* Professional and positive demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree.

* Previous supervisory experience that includes employee hiring and retention, performance review and management.

* Prior experience in a legal practice area.
