Looking for a new and interesting job? Total Technology Inc., a growing government contractor, is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to work in Picatinny Arsenal, in the Wharton, NJ area.  The duties include various administrative and contract management support activities for a high level government customer. The ideal candidate will possess expert level skills in the use of Microsoft Office tools as the duties include formatting of high level reports that require various types of graphs, creation of presentations, webinars, and Power Point presentations, etc.  Additionally, the candidate should be highly proficient in the use of Photo Shop.

Duties

  • Overall administrative support for the Project Director Joint Services
  • Provide support, reporting, coordination of information for project teams and other groups that includes assistance with Webinars and other meetings
  • Perform a broad variety of administrative and multiple government contract management support services
  • Compile data to create various reports needed for scheduling, tracking, and briefings on project performance and status
  • Travel as necessary for off-site meetings and conferences
  • Assist in the setup of teleconferences and video conferences in various parts of the US
  • Serve as primary point of contact for tradeshow displays; assist graphic designers on material updates
  • Responsible for setup of portals for SharePoint sites and ensuring all project teams have access
  • Serve as back-up assistant for the Project Director Joint Services and Deputy Project Director Joint Services
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Director Joint Services

Skills and Requirements

  • Must be a citizen of the United States to work in a military facility
  • The ideal candidate possesses expert level skills in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficient in the use of Photo Shop and similar tools
  • Excellent writing skills including proper grammar and punctuation
  • Able to travel periodically for offsite meetings and conferences
  • Must be highly accurate in the quality of work
  • Strong analytical skills; must be able to collect and analyze data for compilation of various types of high level reports including the use of graphs and charts
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong people skills to work with various teams and groups
  • Self starter with the ability to work alone or with a team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with government contracting a big plus
