Hire Dynamics is currently recruiting for Machine Operator jobs in Smyrna, GA. In this role you’ll perform a variety of manual activities to operate machinery related to surface finishing or injection molding.
Responsibilities for this Machine Operator job include:
- Responsible for the daily production of surface finishing of slides and barrels following the standard operating procedures (working instructions) to achieve client quality and production goals.
- Utilizes hand-tools such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set specifications.
- Performs quality inspections making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications; examines parts for surface defects and damage.
- Performs quality control using custom measuring equipment.
- Immediately reports errors in production and performance to Manufacturing Supervisor / Machine Adjuster.
- Operates manual and semiautomatic machines.
- Maintains work station by cleaning equipment and work area with appropriate materials.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to meet daily production goals
- Experience with hand-tools
- Ability to pay close attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Lift and move boxes with an average weight of 40 lbs. but a maximum weight of 50 lbs.
- Work with or around oils, coolants, and cleaning solutions
Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional Saturdays
