Overview
The eCommerce Shoot Stylist is responsible for the fashion brand aesthetics of the ecommerce business. They will elevate the look and feel of ecommerce by staying on top of current fashion trends in the industry.
Responsibilities include accessorizing and styling merchandise on model for the creation of product images that feel aspirational. They will provide all styling needs on set, from choosing trend appropriate shoes and accessories to suggesting the latest in hair and make-up techniques. This is a part-time opportunity that will work out of our photo studio in Florence, NJ 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Dressing and accessorizing all shots for web shoots
* Trendsetter in their own creative way of outfitting
* Working with designers, tailors, models, photographers, hair and makeup artists to best present items
* Accessorizing looks to accentuate the merchandise
* Researching fabrics, clothing construction and fashion accessories
* Keeping up with different designer labels and fashion designers
* Knowledge of fashion trends, color schemes and designer labels
* Creativity and innovation
* Product preparation includes steaming, ironing, and other processes to ensure that each product is prepared for the shoot.
* Upon receipt of samples, steam and prep the merchandise for photography
* Keeping a clean Studio environment
Qualifications
* 3 years of professional work as either a freelance stylist or assistant stylist in fashion
* Excellent Portfolio
* Assertive but flexible
* Organized
* Innovative, can take ownership and has a strong eye for fashion and trends
* Excellent positive attitude
