About this job
Condustrial, Inc. (a supplemental staffing company for the construction and industrial trades) is seeking reliable General Laborers for immediate placement.
Duties may include but not limited to:
Prepare, excavate, backfill, compact and clean up work sites
Load and unload construction materials to an from the work areas
Erect/dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, barricades
Mix/pour & spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
Can assist carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers, glazers in construction activities
Leveling of earth to fine grade using rake and/or shovel
Assist in demolition projects (using prying bars, other tools), clean up and pile of salvaged materials
Removal of rubble and debris at construction sites (using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, other equipment)
Operation of pneumatic hammers, vibrators, tampers as required and directed
Tend and feed machines such mixers, compressors and pumps
Personal qualities required:
Ability to work in outside (cold and hot temperatures)
Must have the stamina to work on your feet for long periods of time (8-10 hours each day)
Must be punctual, show an eagerness to learn, and willingness to follow instructions
Must be in good physical condition ands enjoy physical labor
Can limit your cell phone usage to breaks only (this includes text messaging)
Enjoy using hand tools
Must show concern and attention to SAFETY and the prevention of injuries on the job
