About this job
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a fast paced, self-motivated individual with experience with International import/export management. Handling all aspects of international transportation is preferred. Including, but not limited to documentation for Customs Clearance. Must be team player, willing to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary. May be required to help in warehouse. Must have Positive attitude and willing to help.
Duties will include:
Tracking of inbound/outbound shipments with ocean and air freight carriers
Deep understanding of LTL/TL carrier and delivery process
Assist with detailed information on cargo ETA and timeline.
Responsible for uploading proper documentation relating to customs clearance
Accurate and timely distribution of documentation
Update customers on changes relating to shipments
Assist the logistics department as needed
Arrangement of timely cargo delivery
Coordination between shipping lines, air lines, and common carriers
Monitoring and understanding of in-transit cargo and documentation requirements
Ability to perform in multinational office environment
Customer requirements:
Possess ability to work independently
Be exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
Be highly experienced in MS Excel and MS Word
Bilingual a plus
Shift-8: 30am-5: 30pm
Drug and background screening are required
