FirstLight Home Care of Mandarin is a brand new company looking to build our bench. We are looking for caring, compassionate people who want to work part time and make a difference in people's lives. We need 5 exceptional candidates who are willing to be on board with us while we build our client base which means that we may not have immediate hours to offer but we are growing and need people we can depend on to be there as we grow. Job Summary
An individual who is competent to travel and perform assigned functions of non-medical care to the client in their residence.
Responsibilities
-Prepare and serve meals and/or snacks.
-Provide:
companionship to client
grooming and dressing guidance
light housekeeping
laundry and linen service to include washing, ironing and folding clothes
shopping service to client to include grocery and clothes shopping
incidental transportation for client
Including: visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores
assistance and planning of client’s recreational activities and events
medication reminders
-Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior or appearance to Care Coordinator.
-Document services delivered in accordance with FirstLight Home Care policies and Procedures.

Job Requirements
-Must complete orientation, non-medical training program and competency.
-Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
-Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
-Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
-Provide a Level II Background Check
-Current CPR Certification
-Recent TB Test and Physical - no physical restrictions
-Reliable transportation, Valid FL Driver's License, Current Automobile Insurance
-Able to be reached by working phone during his/her course of employment with the agency.
-Provide Work References (Minimum of 3)
