Painter

Our well-established client located in the Verona area is in immediate need of a Painter who is experienced with the following:  (1) various types and brands (Matthews, PPG, Kynar, powder, primers, etc.); (2) mixing paint colors based on formulas and visual examples; (3) knowledge of safety devices, respirators, exhaust fans, proper chemical cans, etc.; (4) layout and examine work pieces to ensure specs are met; (5) studying  engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements/task sequence; (6) move parts into position (paint line / booth) manually or with hoists or cranes. Experience / ability to use Painting equipment (paint guns, compressors, mixers, paint line controls); gauges or inspection fixtures - mill thickness gauge; MRP software-DRAIDIS, MS Office suite MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word.  This job will be temp to permanent placement depending on performance; works four, 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday on the second shift.
