Description:

Position Summary:
The Cash Room Attendant must be able to work independently and coordinate with all managers and staff.  Includes a large amount of cash handling (e.g., counting cashiers drawers, making up bank deposits, routine counts and audits of the safe and cash bags).  Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail are necessary, as is the ability to quickly learn Aramark computer systems.  Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential. Manage all cash control reporting and work closely under the supervision of the District Controller.  Cross training as a cashier will be required, as well as occasional supervison of cashiers.

 

This job requires a high degree of trust and dependability.


Ideal candidates will be able to work five days a week, including Sundays. 
 
Essential Functions:

  • Compile reports utilizing Microsoft Excel, data base, and various point of sales software programs.   .
  • Work closely with managers and supervisors in all components to coordinate deliveries and reconcile purchase orders.
  • Assist HR, Accounting and GM with day to day functions.
  • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
  • Report to work on time and in complete uniform
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Prior experience and understanding of  Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel.
 
Equipment Used:
Telephone, Calculator,Photocopier,MICROS POS System, Computer, Fax Machine
 
Travel Requirements:   Little or No Travel (>10%)
 
Lifting Requirements: 
LIGHT - Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds
