***If hired, there is a good chance you will be assigned to the night shift (6 PM - 6 AM)***

No experience necessary, we will train you. These are PREFERRED skills for the positions. 

Hanger:
Hangers work individually and as a team with other hangers to regularly lift and carry hooks and aluminum profiles in lengths up to 40ft and with weights regularly requiring up to 65 lb. lifting load per person.  The work area is near and interactive with heavy industrial manufacturing equipment including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, automated conveyor, and powder booth.  The employee must follow verbal, written and visual directions to ensure proper Safety and Quality requirements are met. Communication with management, co-workers, and personnel from other departments is required in keeping the efficient flow of material and meet production standards.

Takedown:
Takedown/Unloading work individually and as a team with other unloaders to regularly lift and carry aluminum profiles in lengths up to 40ft and with weights regularly requiring up to 65lb lifting load per person.  The work area is near and interactive with heavy industrial manufacturing equipment including but not limited to forklifts, overhead conveyor, cure oven, IR oven, automated stretch wrappers, and conveyors.  The employee must follow verbal, written and visual directions to ensure proper Safety and Quality requirements are met. Communication with management, co-workers, and personnel from other departments is required in keeping the efficient flow of material and meet production standards.

Pre-treat Loader:
Pretreat Cart Loaders work individually and as a team with other Pretreat Loaders to regularly lift and carry aluminum profiles in lengths up to 40ft and with weights regularly requiring up to 50lb lifting load per person.  The work area is near and interactive with heavy industrial manufacturing equipment including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, automated stretch wrappers and conveyors.  The employee must follow verbal, written and visual directions to ensure proper Safety and Quality requirements are met. Communication with management, co-workers, and personnel from other departments is required in keeping the efficient flow of material and meet production standards.

Mill Packer:
The individual is responsible to regularly pack bare mill material in single and sub-bundle packages built into master bundles. Single pieces/sub-bundles will regularly weigh up to 333 lbs. Once the bundle is built, it is transported on carts to banding station manually, at which requires regular pushing bundles from load cart onto a conveyor belt for banding. This is a production position, rated by pounds packed per person. The position requires frequent lifting and maneuvering bundles with a partner. As a mill packer the individual will reach and bend, will stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Stacker/Cart Runner:
The individual is responsible to regularly stack material in single and sub-bundle packages built into master bundles. Once the bundle is built, it is transported on carts to banding station manually, at which requires regularly pushing bundles from load cart onto a conveyor belt for banding. The position requires regular lifting and maneuvering bundles with a partner. As a stacker, the individual will reach and bend, stand and walk for extended periods of time. A clean work area is required to eliminate any potential accidents and promote safety.

Saw Helper:
The Saw Helper is responsible for the transferring of the aluminum from the press to the oven racks. Primary Responsibilities include:  Lifting aluminum extrusion from saw table and stack them in the racks to be heat treated, use aluminum stickers to stack extrusions according to press specifications to avoid damage to the product, visually and manually inspect extrusion for defects, use an air hose to blow out saw chips when necessary to avoid scratching, accumulate, stack and bale scrap, keep pace with the press. The saw helper must be able to operate: crane, forklift, and baler.

Working Conditions:
As it is customary in an extrusion and manufacturing facility; the temperature can be hot and extremely hot during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. Protective garment requirements can further add to working temperatures.  Hydration beverages are available throughout the shift and employees are encouraged to maintain hydration levels. The ambient noise is loud due to loud machinery. Hearing protection is provided and required at all times during operations.  The employee needs to be aware of moving equipment such as moving machinery, moving hoists, conveyors, and forklifts.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
