AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions --- International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

This position is "TEMPORARY."

AECOM is hiring a qualified Production Control Clerk on a temporary basis.

This position is responsible for maintaining work scheduling data, work status-to-date, process controls and forecasts completions and computations of various tasks on contract units. Prepares, transfers, systematizes, and preserves both written and computerized communications and records. Gathers and distributes information and accounts for stores of materials.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Looking up, printing drawings, and issuing to customers.

2. Data entry skills.

3. Issuing Technical documentation such as TM's, DMWR's, etc.

4. Assisting walk-in customers & working C/DM's helpdesk.

5. Entering data into the CHECK IN/OUT database - issuing documents to customers.

6. Entering one-of-a-kind documents into the C/DM Library Database and assigning those documents a Configuration Control Number (CCN).

7. Checking documents back into C/DM that are returned by the customer.

8. Compiles and records production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties.

9. Compiles and records production data from such documents as the customer order, in shop work orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures.

10. Calculates such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.

11. Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.

12. Maintains files of documents used and prepared.

13. Compiles, from specifications, detailed production sheets for use by production workers as guides in assembly, modification or manufacture of products.

14. Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.

15. Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.

16. Charts production based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste and smell. Frequently lifts items weighing 15-25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat or cold; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, or may include unsafe conditions, in which case questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to supervisors and managers on all safety issues. Night work may be required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.

Minimum Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years experience of production/planning data accumulation and reporting, either in the military services or in commercial applications is required. Must be able to process routine reports, and must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle. Knowledge of governing programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or established guidelines. Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data and establish facts and to take or recommend action based upon applicable established guidelines.

Must be able to pass an "Microsoft Excel" proficiency test.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

This position requires a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Common Access Card (CAC) or Rapid Gate Pass.

Must be a US citizen.
