Position Summary: The Human Resources Intern will engage in a variety of projects and programs across Cumberland Farms, Inc. The HR Intern will work with HR team members in the areas of Training and Development, Compensation, Business Partnership, and HR Technology.
Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Management –
• Work closely with the HR Generalists in posting open reqs, attending job fairs, scheduling and conducting screenings of candidates.
• Analyze Voluntary Turnover data for the Retail Organization and create Divisional Dashboard of Retention Metrics to be shared with the field.
Employee Relations –
• Assist in other HR related projects as needed.
Working Relationship: The HR Intern will work closely with Compensation, Training and Development, and HR Technology. Additionally, s/he may collaborate with members of IT, Payroll, and leaders across the Company.

Minimum Education: Rising Junior or Senior
Preferred Education: Some coursework in business, communication, organizational studies, psychology, training, or Human Resources
Licenses/Certifications: n/a
Soft Skills: Strong communicator, highly confidential, attention to detail, strategic thinking, analytical nature, technically savvy
Other: Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
