Skilled Production is an important role in the daily operations of our facilities. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available are handling all aspects of the animal including but not limited to, removing hide and viscera, processing the whole beef to be fabricated into a finished product, deboning and trimming, verifying quality and accuracy of products, all while making safety and food safety the number one priorities.

While performing the duties of Skilled Production, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift, the use of stairs, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility.

Principal Accountabilities

Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:

* Removing the hide and viscera (internal) of the animal

* Removing muscle and tissue from bone

* Use of a knife or heavy machinery

* Ensuring food safety and quality

* Cleanliness and housekeeping

* Maintaining a safe working environment

Required Qualifications

* Legal to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship

* Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous Cargill experience

* Beef processing experience

* Meat processing experience

* Production experience

* Knife experience

* Work history in the last 12 months
