Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician to join our team! OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE has a minimum of 3 years' of verifiable work experience in an Apartment Maintenance or Facilities Maintenance role. Has the ability to be on-call, and has basic computer skills (email and internet). Is available to live on site. Is a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail, is someone who takes great pride in the quality of their work and is passionate about providing exemplary customer service!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for consideration are: a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, English language proficiency (read, speak and write), and the ability to pass a full background check and drug screening. Valid Driver's License required. Responsible for overall maintenance of apartment complex to include but not limited to: ability to complete apartment turns, appliance repair, electrical, drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping and grounds, painting, pool certification, masonry, working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems, must live on site and is responsible for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours.

Job Requirements

Excellent Communication, Ability to conduct follow-up with residents and explain emergency situations to management team. Organization Manage work orders, proficient computer skills, e-mail correspondence, etc. Mastery of appliances, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, overall maintenance of the apartment complex, physical operations of the building, maintaining curb appeal and all areas related to the day?to?day maintenance operations of the community. Responsible for maintaining inventory and coordinating with vendors. Universal CFC Certification, self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail, someone who takes great pride in the quality of their work and is passionate about providing exemplary customer service, ability to determine potential building issues and complete work as necessary, ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

Education/Qualification

High School Diploma or GED Required

HVAC Certification preferred

Additional Certifications

Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation Required
