Lake View Gastro Pub is seeking talented, creative Lead line cook with brunch experience that can bring the dishes the chef creates to life. In order to be considered, you must have the ability to work well under pressure, be reliable, as well as an understanding of the importance of staying within budget, knowing exactly how much to prep, while maintaining a high level food quality and cleanliness. The successful candidate will also play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. The pay range for this position is $13 to $15 per hour based on experience, and a stage. Please respond with a cover letter and resume. ??

Responsibilities Include:?? Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.? Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). ?Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Answer, report and follow Executive Chef's instructions. ?Clean up station and take care of leftover food. Stock inventory appropriately. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. 

Requirements:?? Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.?Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.? Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.?Familiar with industry's best practices.? Culinary school diploma (preferred, not required). Having the City and State serve safe certificates is a must.
