Responsibilities

* Assist in weekly shutdown PM's

* Remove quench screens for cleaning and replace

* Change filters on air handlers

* Change oil on extruder's gearbox

* Clean fans, ducts and screens on regular or none regular scheduled as needed

* Assist other mechanics in major and minor problems to restore production

* Paint designated areas on floors and walls.

* Empty liquid waste containers and dispose of material properly.

* Assist the facility assigned mechanic in the daily operations of the chillers, heat

* Exchanges, compressors, air washers,etc.

* Perform any task necessary to help restore production as quickly and safely as possible.

* Maintain a pack inventory for all lines

* Maintain an inventory of spin pumps for all lines

* Post daily pack inventory on share drive

* Assist process and production on pack problems.

* Maintain shop housekeeping

* Load and unload ovens

* Clean pack parts and inspect pack parts to be built

* maintain all safety rules that apply to doing his/ her job

* Maintain all paperwork and turned into the maintenance department

* Perform any other task that meets the ability of a GM II

Qualifications

* One year as a General Maintenance I.

* Preferred one year maintenance certificate.

* Preferred two years Extrusion Experience

* Basic understanding of mechanical practices

* Must have good work/attendance record.

* Basic Computer skills on AS/400, Microsoft Word & excel

* Self-Motivation.

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* No more than one corrective action.
